Facilities at Long Ashton Community Centre


We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs. Registered users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their account.

Please contact us if you have specific requirements for your booking.

NB. Please note that the facility capacities shown are approximate and depend on the activity involved.

  • Discretionary discount for not-for-profit and community groups if you make 5 or more bookings
  • Children’s parties either 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm
  • Stage/theatre lighting £50 (self-operated)
  • Central Wire £35
  • Alcohol License £18
  • Pre-booked cleaning charges £50 per hour

New groups- half price for first 2 weeks
Public liability insurance certificate - only needed for commercial groups

Facilities

Trestle tables- 1.8m long (fits 3 along the edge) and others are half the length
Main hall - Lowest point is 2.8m ( for bouncy castles), 200 max capacity (150 seated in long tables, 120 in separate tables)
Pavilion and Club Room - 150 max standing, 80 seated

The village hall is the perfect multi-use space


The main Village Hall was fully refurbished in the summer of 2008 and it is suitable for large meetings, exhibitions, plays, concerts, parties, exercise classes and weddings. It has a capacity of 200 standing or 150 seated with tables and chairs.

The stage, with curtains and lighting bars and a full PA system, (bookable on request), is a perfect venue for plays and shows or for hosting a band or DJ at your party.

The Pavilion is a medium-sized venue which is complete with kitchen facilities and an outdoor terrace which overlooks the Bowling Green


This bright modern building is perfect for medium size events, parties, talks, workshop activities and presentations. It has a capacity of 150 standing or 80-100 seated with tables and chairs.

Keeds Hall is a large sports hall with markings for badminton five-a-side football and basketball.


With a new sprung wooden floor, this hall can be hired out for sporting activities, a game of badminton, or as an extra space for parties (in conjunction with the Club Room.) It is particularly suitable for children’s discos as it can be made very dark, even in the daytime.

The Youth hut is a stand alone building, complete with kitchenette and toilet facilities


It is a small room which is ideal for band rehearsals due to it's size and location as vehicles can park right next to it to unload music equipment.
