We are pleased to announce that on the 19th of September 2021, we will be hosting our annual Village Picnic.
Back by popular demand, this year, we are encouraging everyone to join us to reconnect and celebrate the easing of the lockdown restrictions.
Here is a lineup of all the exciting things we have planned.
On the football field we have:
- Bouncy Castles – assault course, gladiator duelling, and party bounce
- Giant Garden Games – snakes & ladders mat & die and high tower
- North Somerset Police football cage
- Happy Hopperz
- Bubble Machine
Entertainment on the football field:
12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
The legendary Nutty Noah.
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Circus School Skills with the wonderful kia.
Recreation ground play area and MUGA:
- Arts and crafts kids zone by the Long Ashton Youth Club
- Street Dance by Long Ashton Youth Club
- Graffiti art with Long Ashton Youth Club
- Dance performance by Beats Dance
- Face painting
Clubroom and outside green space:
- Cream teas in the Clubroom served by the Long Ashton Youth Club
- Ice creams served by Long Ashton Youth Club
- Graffiti with the Long Ashton Youth Club
- Bar tent served by the Long Ashton Football Club
- Burgers by the award-winning Kitchen Catering Company
- Music and PA by DJ Dave
If all this isn’t enough, from 2 pm we have the amazing Bristol magician Paul Preager wandering around performing mesmerizing close-up magic for your entertainment!
