Come along and enjoy some fantastic savoury lunches made in-house, coffee courtesy of Clifton Coffee Roasters, a good selection of teas, home-made cakes and Chew Moo Ice Creams in our relaxed cafe environment. We also have plenty of children’s lunch and snack options plus we cater for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan requirements. Take away options are available for all our menu options.

WiFi is available in the cafe free-of-charge; please just ask for the password at the counter    Gallery For > Wifi White Png

We have a small Community Library in the L A Cafe, where you can donate any books you like and don’t need. Likewise, borrow from it anything you want to. This is a combination of what used to be called the Transition Library (books with a green/spiritual/political/social slant), and the L A Cafe’s collection of novels.

Café therapy room:

From Monday 16th April, holistic therapist Sarah Britton will be offering the relaxing therapy of Reflexology. Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive therapy that helps to restore balance and harmony. It deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all parts of the body. By working on these areas reflexology helps to relieve stress and tension; improve blood supply and promote the unblocking of nerve impulses and helps to restore balance naturally.

Sarah will be here every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10.00 until 1:30 pm (term time only) offering 1/2 hour mini treatments (£20) and 1-hour full treatments (£35). You can either pop in on the day for an appointment or, if you prefer to book in advance to guarantee your appointment, then you can book online here.

For any questions, call Sarah on 07985 931131 or email: britton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk.

Gilly is a very experienced and friendly Holistic massage and Reiki practitioner who offers a 15-minute treatment for £10, a 30-minute treatment for £20 and a 60-minute treatment for £35. This could help ease back, shoulder, neck or head pain or just refresh or revitalise you! Do just drop in.

6 flavours of Chew Moos premium quality ice cream produced on a family farm in Dundry from a pedigree herd of Guernsey cows.

We sell a range of Orchard Pig fizzy fruity drinks, which are made in Somerset.

We source our white and granary bread from Weston-Super-Mare based Winnie’s Bakery, and serve it with our sandwiches, toasties and soups.  Winnie is the name of the natural ferment that is used in the baking process and combined with wild yeast and sea salt, the loaf is chemical-free!

We use Bristol-based Clifton Coffee for our coffee beans, which we freshly grind to make our Espresso, Americano, Latte and Cappucino. This company also supplies and services our coffee machine, and trains our baristas, meaning that we can ensure we provide the highest quality cup of coffee!
