Malcolm Pemble / General Secretary, Long Ashton Bowling Club

Restrictions throughout the pandemic have proved to be extremely testing for everyone, and yet the team at the Long Ashton Community Centre has continued to maintain its high level of professionalism and customer care. Their attention to detail and putting their customer first has demonstrated how highly valued they are to everyone. Long Ashton is very fortunate to have such a great team of people looking after their customers and the facilities. Keep up the good work.

Feedback source – Website A massive thank you to Sally, and all supporting staff that have put a lot of time and energy into transforming and developing the community centre and its facilities and programs. The tennis courts are looking amazing and I look forward to the interest as the summer unfolds. Well done team!!

Guy Kingston / Group Coordinator

Feedback source – Website You’re doing an amazing job in very difficult circumstances. I can’t believe how you’ve bent over backwards to help our group during the pandemic – you’ve saved lives.

Isie Bates / Yoga Instructor

Feedback source – Facebook I have been running my weekly Hatha Yoga Classes at the Centre having re-established them after the COVID-19 lockdown that began in March. I have to say, Sal, Sue and the team have been absolutely fabulous! We met to discuss our options and I was reassured how much effort they have put in to make the Centre COVID-19 secure. Since I began, my students are returning time and time again and don’t mind that we have windows and doors open to ventilate the space. Every time I arrive to set up, the hall smells and feels very clean and sanitised. A fogging machine is used in between each use of the hall to ensure it’s safe for us all, there’s always plenty of hand sanitiser to use and cleaning products if needed. Everyone has their own square to occupy in the hall and there is a one-way system in force. The caretakers are doing an amazing job and I have absolutely no concerns about continuing my weekly class. I’ve even increased my numbers from the original 6 students to 9 (I can securely have 12 with plenty of social distancing space but chose to have less). I would highly recommend the Long Ashton Community Centre to people who wish to return or begin using it. Well done LACA!!!!!
