The Designed Garden – A Thing of Beauty and a Job Forever
People welcome to arrive from 7.15pm with a prompt start to the talk at 7.45pm.  Event expected to end at about 9.15pm.
Venue – Jubilee Pavilion, Long Ashton Community Centre
The Long Ashton Horticultural Society are delighted to be hosting a talk from Christine Pritchard who has more than 36 years experience in garden design.  She will be sharing some of the secrets that professional designers use to create beautiful gardens and give an insight into what it takes to enable others to achieve success in their own gardens.
In 1987 Christine started her own landscape design business and has completed over 1,000 designs. Her success at the Chelsea Flower Show lead to Christine working on the “Roots and Shoots” gardening series for HTV.  In addition Christine teaches horticulture and garden design at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden, Bath College plus Stoke Lodge in Bristol.
Refreshments will be available on the evening.
