Guidance for the public on the phased return of outdoor sport and recreation in England
We have had reports of fairly large groups of adults and children meeting on the recreation ground and Peel Park.
We understand how difficult it is when you are limited but please understand that we have a duty of care to all our users and, during the coronavirus crisis, we have a responsibility to ensure that when people use our facilities, they do so within the set government guidelines.
Therefore we must remind people that you can only meet with up to 5 other people from outside your household -  whilst follow social distancing guidelines. This does not mean that 5 adults and their accompanying children.
Up to two households are permitted to gather in groups of more than 6 people indoors or outdoors, provided members of different households can follow social distancing guidelines. Otherwise, gatherings of more than 6 people indoors or outdoors continue not to be permitted.
If you are not following the current guidance whilst using our facilities, do not be surprised if a member of our team asks you to disperse.
