Unfortunately, our centre managers daughter has tested positive for COVID-19.Thankfully, she only has mild symptoms but now has to isolate for ten days.Sadly this also means that our centre manager and one of our caretakers are now isolating until Thursday 29th of July. What does this mean for the Community Centre?Firstly, we would like to reassure you that the Community Centre will remain open because our caretaker on duty has deep cleaned every building using our fogging machine this morning.Thankfully our centre manager can work from home, but it does mean we are one caretaker down who usually covers the weekend. This shouldn’t be a problem because we have recently had a new caretaker start working with us, and we are have made provisions for him to cover the weekend. However, as he is new, we will be asking our groups and event organisers to please be patient with him as he is being thrown in the deep end, and there may be some things he does not know yet.We will do our utmost to ensure the Community Centre continues to run smoothly, and we thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.
