Community Cafe Volunteers

Our Community Cafe is usually a hub for activities, but due to the coronavirus, we had no choice but to limit the service to takeaway only.

The takeaway has worked quite well but, as the cold, wet weather sets in, and footfall drops, we need a way to ensure our much-loved cafe can continue to run.

With that, we have decided that we need to open up the connecting sports hall to offer table service. That way we can bring people in from the cold and help secure the future of the cafe.

However, due to the new government restrictions for restaurants and cafes, regarding table service, this is something Alen, our Cafe Manager, will not be able to do alone.

As a registered charity, we rely on the support of our volunteers and, as we move into phase two of reopening the cafe, we now need some dedicated volunteers to help us make this happen.

Community Cafe Volunteer Role

We are looking for a small team of two people who are enthusiastic, friendly individuals with great people skills who isn't afraid to interact with customers.
