A sociable group of mainly retired people who enjoy painting in many art mediums.  No tutor, help and support to one another.  They meet in the Pavilion on Thursday mornings from  9:30—12:00 weekly.

Daisy Birthing Antenatal Classes

Daisy Birthing is a weekly antenatal class for expectant mums to help
you enjoy pregnancy, stay mobile, learn about your changing baby and
body and prepare for a confident birth. Our unique Active Antenatal method draws on elements of active birth, pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing
and antenatal education to create one very powerful combination. From
easing pregnancy ailments, adapting to your changing body, preparing for
birth and informing your own individual choices, we’ve got you covered.
Classes run throughout the year and are bookable in 6 weeks term with
the first one starting on Tuesday 13th August.  Please do get in touch

This is run by the Community Association and takes place every weekday morning from 10:00-13:30 in the Club Room, as well as the first Saturday of the month (village market day) from 09:30-16:00. Come and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, homemade cake, light snack or lunch.  All welcome, as well as well-behaved dogs. Children’s options too, as well as a loyalty card scheme. Come on a Monday or Tuesday to take advantage of our early-week offers:

Mondays: Slice of cake + tea/Americano for £2.50

Tuesdays: Soup/sandwich + tea/Americano for £3.50

LA Cafe- Cream tea 

Monthly cream tea, which occurs on the first Tuesday of every month in the LA Cafe.

This is a peaceful, adults-only environment, which is suitable if you wish to come alone, or with friends!

£3.50, to include scone, jam, cream and a pot of tea or cafetiere.

LA Cinema 

LONG ASHTON CINEMA is a non-profit group run by local volunteers. Our aim is to offer a wide variety of good quality films at affordable prices on your doorstep. They screen at least one film a month and it’s a social place where guests can have a drink and a chat before and after the screening.

Long Ashton Independent Ladies Association 

LAILA was formed in 2008 and is an informal and friendly group meeting on the third Wednesday of the month between 19:15-21:15 in the Village Hall. Speakers are invited to attend some meetings and days out and theatre trips are arranged too.

Long Ashton Village Market 

First Saturday of each month (apart from January) between 09:30-13:00. The emphasis is on local and affordable produce, food and crafts.

The Long Ashton market aims to support the development of local producers and businesses with an active interest in sustainable practices. It also provides an opportunity for visitors to meet various local groups and find out about exciting and interesting things happening in the village and surrounding area.

The Long Ashton Parish Council and its Committees meet most Monday evenings from 19:30 in the Jubilee Pavilion. Meetings are open to the public. The office runs a drop-in day for the public on Tuesdays between 10:00-12:00 for those who have any queries or concerns

Probus Clubs are clubs for retired or semi-retired business or professional people, and the Long Ashton club is open to men-only. Meetings occur on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month between 10:00-12:00 in the Pavilion.

The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion sometimes called The British Legion or The Legion is a British charity providing financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants.
