Bark in the Park– 7/7
This year, LACA’s annual Village Picnic combines with the Village Market’s ‘Bark in the Park’ to create a huge day of community fun! Proceeds from the event will be split between the Long Ashton Community Association and Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.

Fun run – 7/7
Our annual fun run is back, with the opportunity to run 1, 2 or 3 laps around Peel Park on the same day as our Bark in the Park event. The fun run is open to children who are primary school age and upwards, as well as their parents/guardians if they’d like to run too! Adults and guardians who wish to run with their child must purchase a ticket too. Please be aware that parents or guardians who choose not to run must still be on the community centre site while their child is running. You can purchase a ticket for the run online (see below), but you must also return the consent form attached if you want to enter.
Hansel and Gretal – 28/8
OOOH-ARRR Productions are touring their first ever theatre production of Hansel and Gretel after their 4 star show at The Alma Tavern and Theatre in Bristol last year.
Featuring a new and improved script from director Jack Turner, and some amazing puppetry, this magical fairy-tale is brought to life. Suitable for ages 4+.

Annual Public Meeting for the Long Ashton Community Association – 18/9
Every summer, our trustees host their Annual General Meeting in which members of the public, user groups and any other interested parties are warmly encouraged to attend, hear about the work LACA is doing, offer their thoughts or raise any concerns they might have. It is a brilliant opportunity to find out more about what’s been happening in the last year and ask any questions you may have.

Long Ashton Beer and Cider Festival – 29/9
The 6th Long Ashton Beer and Cider Festival will be held on Saturday 29th September in the Village Hall. Tickets available from the Post Office (from the end of August) or from the Community Centre office. As always, there will be a range of high quality food and live music.
