L A Cinema will be screening Billy Wilder’s 1959 comedy masterpiece Some Like It Hot (1959). A black and white romantic comedy, starring Hollywood icons Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Pat O’Brien and the great George Raft as Spats Colombo.
So dress up, dress down – everyone’s welcome at their fun Friday night screening of this classic film.
Doors/Bar open 7pm, film at 8pm. Tickets £5, on sale from 18/6. Available from Long Ashton Post Office, L A Community Centre Cafe, online here or on the door.
Come and compete in an ‘It’s a knock out’ style afternoon in a team of 4 on five different inflatable assault courses and games.
12 – 4pm on our Recreation Ground. £20 per team of 4 people.
The inflatables will also be available for general use between 4 – 5pm at a cost of £3 per person.
Live music party night in the Village Hall.
Momentum a female fronted rock/pop covers band will be headlining the event. The band put their own individual style of Rock into popular and current music, offering a new perspective and edge to everyday songs on the radio, playing various artists from the ’80s, ’90s and up to now in their own style, Momentum have something for everyone!
Supported by Jake Beckett a talented Blues & Folk style solo acoustic artist and Ghost Trail a local duo – playing lovesongs from the likes of Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, & Elton John plus plenty to dance to with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Rita Ora, & Duffy.
Doors open 7:30pm, bar and snacks available all night.

Long Ashton Village Market presents ‘Bark in the Park’ incorporating the Fun Dog Show. All monies raised go towards supporting Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.
