Watercolour classes for beginners and mixed ability. One to one  teaching and demonstrations in a friendly environment.   Everyone brings their own materials and refreshments are provided. £8 per session.

Art Club 

A sociable group of mainly retired people who enjoy painting in many art mediums.  No tutor, help and support to one another.  They meet in the Pavilion on Thursday mornings from  9:30—12:00 weekly.

Avon Guild of Spinners and Weavers 

The aim of the Guild is to promote and encourage the art of spinning, weaving and dyeing. Runs on the second Saturday of the month between 10:00-16:00 in the Pavilion

LA Cafe 

This is run by the Community Association and takes place every weekday morning from 10:00-13:30 in the Club Room, as well as the first Saturday of the month (village market day) from 09:30-16:00. Come and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, homemade cake, light snack or lunch.  All welcome, as well as well-behaved dogs. Children’s options too, as well as a loyalty card scheme. Come on a Monday or Tuesday to take advantage of our early-week offers:

Mondays: Slice of cake + tea/Americano for £2.50

Tuesdays: Soup/sandwich + tea/Americano for £3.50

Long Ashton Independent Ladies Association 

LAILA was formed in 2008 and is an informal and friendly group  meeting on the third Wednesday of the month between 19:15-21:15 in the Village Hall. Speakers are invited to attend some meetings and days out and theatre trips are arranged too.

Meetings held on the first Thursday of the month from October April inclusive in the Pavilion between 19:30-21:30. Speakers give  talks on subjects mainly appertaining to history of the local area.

Long Ashton Village Market 

First Saturday of each month (apart from January) between 09:30-13:00. The emphasis is on local and affordable produce, food and crafts.

The Long Ashton market aims to support the development of local producers and businesses with an active interest in sustainable practices. It also provides an opportunity for visitors to meet various local groups and find out about exciting and interesting things happening in the village and surrounding area.

Parish Council 

The Long Ashton Parish Council and its Committees meet most Monday evenings from 19:30 in the Jubilee Pavilion. Meetings are open to  the public. The office runs a drop-in day for the public on Tuesdays between 10:00-12:00 for those who have any queries or concerns

Scrapbooking and card making group. Classes or do your own thing. Runs on the third Saturday of the month from 10:00-14:00

Tra La 

Runs fortnightly on Tuesdays between 19:30-21:30 in the Club Room. No experience needed – our aim is to enjoy singing together, and we make a pleasing sound, singing a variety of songs from around the world as well as standards, folk, pop songs and rounds.
